A visit to a beach pavilion is a must during your holiday on Texel! Along the west coast of the island you will find many beach pavilions where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. Some of these pavilions are also open during the winter.
The view from beach pavilion Kaap Noord on the 'Vlielandboulevard', near the lighthouse is unprecedented, even by Texel standards. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food at Kaap Noord!
At Paal 31, close to De Cocksdorp you'll find Faro Beach, a pavilion on high stilts and with stunning views. Faro is Spanish for lighthouse and the menu is composed with a nod to Spanish cuisine. Homemade paellas, nachos, fresh calamari and other tasty bites.
Between nature reserve De Slufter and the Mandenvallei lies the beautiful beach pavilion Paal 28 in the dunes. Enjoy delicious meat and fish dishes and a warm welcome!
Beach pavilion Paal 21 is located high up in the dunes. Dishes are prepared honestly, freshly and as much as possible with organic produce from Texel. There is also a shop selling sustainable baby products from Eiland Baby. Next to the beach houses you will find a kiosk, where you can buy drinks, snacks, beach gear, shirts, children's toys and much more.
At Paal 20, you can experience the ultimate beach feeling all year round. Stop by for a cup of coffee, tea or a juice with a piece of cake. This is also a fine spot for lunch, dinner and delicious cocktails.
Beachclub Texel is open 365 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The coffee here is from home-roasted coffee beans. Tip for a walk: a paved path runs across the dunes between Paal 19.5 and Paal 20. From the Zeereeppad you have a beautiful view of the beach and sea.
There are two pavilions at Paal 17: Aan Zee and Zomers. Zomers is open from the end of March until October. Beach pavilion Paal 17 Aan Zee is open all year round. This beautiful pavilion has an open fireplace and lots of glass, allowing you to fully enjoy the beach feeling inside. Unique by Texel standards is the first floor: restaurant Paal 17 De Eerste Etage. Come get a breath of fresh air, read a newspaper, enjoy water sports, celebrate, dine, get married or take a stroll.
Peek aan Zee, the beach pavilion at Paal 15 has a beautiful view of the North Sea. Popularly, Paal 15 is also called Westerslag. Here you can enjoy a fresh lunch, coffee and cake, drinks and a nice dinner.
Beach pavilion Paal 12 near Den Hoorn has an Ibiza-style atmosphere and style. Colourful dishes are served and you can lounge and relax.
Beach pavilion Paal 9 is a wood-built pavilion located in the dunes of Texel, not far from the picturesque Den Hoorn. The pavilion has an extensive menu with tastefull delights for young and old.
