In the center of Den Hoorn you will find the star restaurant Bij Jef. Here you can dine at a high level with a Texel touch. No-nonsense and quirky Owner and chef Jef Schuur is always looking for harmonious contrasts in taste and texture, so this is immediately the cooking style that you will experience 'Bij Jef'. A varying seven-course dinner is served daily with great passion. Important ingredients such as the well-known (suckling) lamb, the salty herbs and a diversity of crustaceans and shellfish are of course reflected in this. Wine lover? Bij Jef has an extensive wine list, a suitable wine can be served with every course. Michelin Star Bij Jef is the only restaurant on Texel that has a Michelin star. When you step inside, you step into a sense of peace and space. The design interior is designed to allow you to enjoy the exclusive Texel specialties in a relaxed manner.
Bij Jef is closed on Mondays, until April 4 the restaurant is also closed on Tuesdays. Dinner starts between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
