Welcome to the mustard factory's shop In the small mustard factory you can see where the mustard is made. Local ingredients are used, such as Texel mustard seed, sea fennel, cranberries, rosemary and beer. Black chervil is added as a special seasoning. That is a rare herb in Europe, but on Texel it grows in various places in the countryside. Mustard caviar and mustard oil Real delicacies are the mustard caviar and mustard oil. The mustard caviar is used as a topping on small dishes such as fish, cheese, egg, hummus, etc. They are small taste gems! The mustard oil is cold pressed from black mustard seeds and is a thick, rich oil with a nutty flavor. Delicious to make a nice dressing, or neat for dipping with good bread and a few grains of sea salt. The mustard is available in the mustard factory's shop and at various (farm) shops on the island.
