IslandBerry is the only cranberry company on Texel. They produce cranberries organically, both in the cranberry field and in the climate greenhouse. The cranberries grow in the greenhouse according to a unique method, the hanging culture. In addition to the production of berries, they also grow cranberry plants themselves. Knowledge center IslandBerry is also a knowledge center for the development of cranberry cultivation in the Netherlands. At IslandBerry you can find out everything about the growth, flowering and harvest of cranberries. The berries are processed into special local Texel products and are also sold on site. Guided tours Would you like to become acquainted with the special world of the cranberry? Then book a tour! This is possible every Thursday from April 15 to October 1. During the tour you will learn a lot about cranberries. The tours are by appointment only and are given for groups of 10 people or more. Group outings It is also possible to book a group outing on request. For example, a tour in combination with a workshop/tasting of Landgoed Bonte Belevenis.
