Ice cream farmer Ans stands with her mobile ice cream cart in various places on the island. The best chance of encountering her is on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Ans' ice cream truck is on the road 'IJs van Ans' used to stand in a fixed spot in the forest, but nowadays she is always on the road. She cycles through the forest with her cart and regularly attends events and markets. She can often be spotted from the BBQ spot in the forest to the Rozendijk and the Rommelpot. On a day with very little wind, she sometimes takes a trip over the Hoge Berg to the harbor of Oudeschild and the marina.
