Kook Atelier op Oost has been included in the top 100 best vegetable restaurants in the world! Joram Timmerman and Valerie Jongeneel's restaurant is ranked 77 in this year's prestigious We're Smart Green Guide, the international guide to conscious and plant-based gastronomy.

The We're Smart Green Guide focuses on sustainable gastronomy and plant-based cuisine worldwide. Restaurants are rated on creativity, use of seasonal produce, local ingredients and sustainable practices.

The Kook Atelier's rating was raised from 4 to 5 ‘radishes’ this year, the highest rating within the platform. The guide features another Texel restaurant: Bij Jef by Jef Schuur and Nadine Mögling, they received a score of 2 radishes.
