The music video for the song 'Tessel' has been viewed no less than 30,000 times on YouTube! During Texel Culinair on Sunday 24 September 2023, the band Gone to the Beach therefore received a gold record. The record was presented by VVV director Frank at Cafe De Kuip in De Koog.
The song sings of the four seasons on Texel; the boat, the tide, the bathing guest, the wind and many other typical Texel things pass by.
