Evergreens and summer singing with Jessica van Noord
Sunday 25 August 2024 Jessica van Noord is an 'old faithful' in Den Hoorn. She formed a duo with Joop Visser and performed at Klif 12 and Broadway. In recent years she has been a regular guest at De Vermaning, a place to which she has pledged her heart. She loves singing with her guitar, in which she does not shy away from a naughty twist, and loves nothing more than singing together with the audience. This time she comes together with a very special guest. Who it is, remains a surprise for a while. Would you like to come and listen and sing along? You are very welcome! Time: 3:00 PM. Free entrance, no reservation, voluntary contribution. Location: De Vermaning.

This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
