Workshop 'Free Bird'
Saturday 3 May 2025 In the context of the theme Freedom of the exhibition of the Texel artists' association Zout, Pieternel Geurtz and Lien van der Star will give two creative workshops on the Kunst-etage this Saturday. During her workshop, Pieternel will focus on teaching how to paint a "Free Bird" with acrylic paint on a mini canvas. Lien focuses on the theme 'Free Bird' by means of a number of considerations such as 'freedom as a mindset' and 'freedom in connection'. We make works of art that seamlessly match the series 'Energy is Free' created by Lien for this Zout exhibition. Location: Kunst-etage, Parkstraat. Entrance Public Grill Parkstraat Den Burg. Time: between 12:30 and 16:00, with a half hour break in between Interested parties can register for both workshops (together 15 euros) but also for just one workshop (10 euros). Kunstenaarsvereniging ZOUT
ZOUT is an active artists' association on Texel. The members make art with a touch of ZeeZOUT. Exhibitions At least four times a year there is a retrospective exhibition in the KUNST-Etage on Parkstraat above the Public Grill in Den Burg. In addition, artists exhibit every year during the HavenVistijn (the fish promotion day) in August. Art route Every year, the artists' association also organizes an art route along several artists' studios.
