Let your creativity run wild. Punch needling is a form of embroidery in which you pierce the fabric with a hollow needle. You can use it to make wall hangings or a rug or cushion cover. In the workshop you will learn the basics of punch-needling with handy tips for doing it at home. You will trace an example on a piece of linen and then stretch it in an embroidery hoop. Using different colours of wool, you ‘punch’ the thread through the fabric and get a beautifully coloured whole! In the 2-hour workshop you will make a small figure like a wall pendant or a coaster. In the 3-hour workshop, you start working on a larger wall pendant after an existing image or your own design. This includes a ring, 3-piece needle set, the necessary thread and an extra piece of punch cotton. When: every Friday from 2 pm Cost: from €20 per person.
