Wijngaard de Kroon van Texel is one of the northernmost vineyards in the Netherlands and the only one in the Wadden Sea, which makes the wine special. The origin of the vineyard Wijngaard de Kroon van Texel has 8500 vines with the Johaniter, Solaris, Riesel and Regent grapes. The roots of the company lie in the year 2005. The first 500 grape plants were planted in that year and it has now grown into a fantastic place to walk around, experience and taste. From grape vine to glass of wine Wijngaard de Kroon van Texel offers guided tours and tastings. During a guided tour you will learn everything about the grape varieties. They are also happy to tell you more about the origin of the vineyard, the growth and flowering and the winemaking process. After the tour there will of course be a tasting.
