During this excursion you will spend an afternoon in a minibus with a guide to visit various bird-rich areas in search of as many bird species as possible. In collaboration with Staatsbosbeheer and the National Park Dunes of Texel, the Vogelinformatiecentrum (Bird Information Center) offers a half-day excursion through the National Park. You stop at various places to walk through the dunes or through the forest. Along the way you will encounter various bird species. Waders in De Slufter, forest birds in the Dennen and songbirds and birds of prey in the dunes. The variety palette is very variable and depends on the season. Every excursion is different! If you don't have binoculars yourself, you can of course borrow one from the center. Registration for this excursion is required. It is possible to take a wheelchair with you on the minibus tour under certain conditions. Do you want to do the excursion with a wheelchair? Please contact the Bird Information Center. Times: on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the excursion starts at 1.30 pm at the Vogelinformatiecentrum and ends at 4.30 pm. Costs: € 45.00 per person.
