Sales exhibition 'In je Element'
Sunday, November 26, 2023 to Saturday, January 6, 2024 Exhibition by Paulien Valk, Rebecca Geskus and Heleen Vink, three Texel women who bring beauty and warmth to the dark winter days. They feel in their element with very different materials, but share their passion for being creative. Being captivated by the material. Wanting to get started with it. The challenge, the search, the additional pleasure and the ultimate satisfaction. In short, be in your element! On display: ceramics and visual work by Paulien, wool and drawings by Rebecca, and photos and knitting by Heleen. Time: daily from 11 am to 4 pm. Entrance: free.

This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
