Join Wad expert Marcel from Txgids and explore the mudflats! Get to know this wild landscape of Texel, which is a World Heritage Site for a reason. Everything is covered: birds, shellfish, lugworms, crabs, shrimps, algae and much more. Of course, active fishing is also done to see what lives in the mudflats. With respect for nature, Txgids will show you the way and in the meantime you will create a memory that you will never forget. Please note: a minimum number of participants applies to this excursion. If there are too few participants or bad weather, you will hear at least 1 hour in advance whether the excursion can take place. Dogs are not allowed. Tight high boots, sturdy lace-up shoes (no Velcro) or water shoes are required and clothing can get dirty. It is possible to participate from the age of nine.
