From Friday 14 February 2025 This spring you can come and see a brand new exhibition at Ecomare. In Tot later, Texel in 2075 you can make your own choices for the future of Texel. You will also discover which newcomers we can expect due to climate change. Such as the seahorse, which is increasingly common in the North Sea. This spring break we will put the spotlight on this special fish! Come along and join in the fun activities with the seahorse as a theme. Of course you can also discover a lot about the other animals that live in the North Sea. During feeding, the animal caretakers will tell you about the seals and the animals in the Sea Aquarium. Opening hours: open daily from 09:30 - 17:00. The ticket office closes at 16:30.

A short distance outside De Koog in the dunes near paal 17, you will find the nature museum and seal sanctuary Ecomare. seals If you want to see a seal up close, this is possible in Ecomare. The seals are fed at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During the feeding, everything is told about the seals that live in Ecomare. You can also admire other sea creatures in Ecomare.
