Artex Chamber Choir sings ‘Viva España’
Sunday 21 January 2024 Spanish choral music full of emotion with guitar accompaniment, as well as hushed Spanish church music from 1600 for choir a capella. You will hear, among others, 'La Guitarra' by Castelnuove-Tedesco, a song about the power of the guitar, and 'O Magnum Mysterium' by Spanish composer De Morales, a song about the great miracle. Viva España will be sung under the direction of conductor Ellen Verburgt and with the cooperation of André Meerkerk on guitar and Loes Bakker on flute. Start: 3 pm. Admission: €10 per person. Tickets available from Artex and at the door of the Waalderkerk.
