Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 June 2023 In the VOC era, the Rede van Texel was the busiest anchorage in the world. Ships were supplied and waited for favorable winds to set sail. There were often hundreds of ships. In June 2023, this image will revive when historic ships anchor at Texel again during Pre-Sail at Texel. On June 27, there will be an open-air performance by 7 Texel choirs on 2 stages in the harbor of Oudeschild. On June 28, the Pre-Sail will take place in the port of Oudeschild. There will be various performances on stages, food trucks and the Rede van Texel will take place in the Zeemanskerkje. And on June 29, all Tallships can be viewed at the Rede van Texel. They then make the crossing to Den Helder, for Sail Den Helder. Times: June 27, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM June 28 approx. 9 AM - 10:30 PM June 29 approx. 10 AM. – 4 PM
