Come to the observatory of Volkssterrenwacht De Jager next to Ecomare and admire the starry sky through a telescope! The astronomers will be happy to explain what you see. Attention is paid to the moon, meteors, galaxies, star clusters, nebulas and the planet Venus and possibly Uranus. It will not take place in cloudy weather. Due to the possible crowds, you are explicitly requested to register. During the weekend of science and the Night of the Night there are free viewing evenings. Start time varies per date. A short distance outside De Koog in the dunes near paal 17, you will find the nature museum and seal sanctuary Ecomare. seals If you want to see a seal up close, this is possible in Ecomare. The seals are fed at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During the feeding, everything is told about the seals that live in Ecomare. You can also admire other sea creatures in Ecomare.
