Muziek op Zondag met Bar y Bas
Sunday, October 29, 2023 The duo Bar y Bas will perform again in the Hoornder Vermaning. Goos van der Sijde, bass clarinet and Peter Hendriks, baritone sax, form a surprising combination with "quirky" arrangements and a varied repertoire. They are on a quest for new pieces, but also do not hesitate to perform their favorite old favorites. Location: De Vermaning Time: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Cost: Free admission with voluntary contribution.

This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
