Maartenskerk

Maartenskerk

This protestant church is located in the middle of Oosterend. The Maartenskerk dates from the eleventh century and is therefore the oldest church on the island. Open The church can be visited from May to October. You can then receive an explanation about the church and there is an opportunity to light a candle and take a moment of rest and meditation. Historic Area The church is the center of a village with many old houses. It is worth walking through Oosterend on foot and to see the historic buildings.
