Free beach excursion during Dune Day
Saturday June 29, 2024 In honor of Dune Day, the Dune Conservation Foundation has organized a number of free excursions, including an excursion on Texel. This excursion starts at the parking lot at the lighthouse. From here we will take a nice walk on the beach in a southerly direction. There is plenty to see on this wide beach: (pioneer) plants, animals, insects, birds. Attention will also be paid to the formation of dunes and the importance of protecting beach residents. The distance of the route is 4 km. Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. This excursion is free. Registration is necessary via: www.duinconservation.nl/excursion/texel-kustnatuur There are a maximum of 25 places.
