Folkmuziek met Los Zand
Sunday, July 28, 2024 'Los Zand' is an occasional quartet with former Hoornder Marieke van der Hoek. Four enthusiastic musicians who come to practice in De Vermaning for a weekend 1-2 times a year. They play and sing Celtic, Breton and Dutch folk music. On Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. they will conclude their rehearsal weekend with a performance for an audience. Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Entrance: voluntary contribution.

This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
