Daily from Thursday 2 May to Monday 27 May 2024 A native of Texel, Cecile de Boer likes to be inspired by the Texel landscape and nature. It gives her great satisfaction when people enjoy her work. Cecile is self-taught, but has taken courses to learn techniques. With painting, too, there are rules, but sometimes she consciously deviates from them. This is how she developed her own style, while still continuing to look for new forms. She likes to be inspired by the Texel landscape and nature. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
