Exhibition: 'Water' by artists' association ZOUT
From Saturday 28 September to Saturday 26 October 2024 Artists' association ZOUT is organising the exhibition entitled: 'Water' in the Kunstlokaal in Den Burg. The versatile works of art by members of ZOUT reflect on the theme of water: as a source of life and a threat. The festive opening is on Saturday 28 September at 3:00 PM, performed by Peter Ampt and Peter Huisman. Various creative workshops will also be given. Including on 5 October: 'Paint your own sea painting' and 23 October: 'Clay fish'. The costs (including materials) are 15 euros per person and registrations can be made via: pieternelgeurtz@gmail.com Opening hours: daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Kunstenaarsvereniging ZOUT
ZOUT is an active artists' association on Texel. The members make art with a touch of ZeeZOUT (Sea salt). Exhibitions At least four times a year there is a retrospective exhibition in the KUNST-Lokaal on the Paelwerck in Den Burg. In addition, artists exhibit every year during the HavenVistijn (the promotion day of the fish) in August. Art route Every year, the artists' association also organizes an art route along several artists' studios.
