The Slufter comes to life when dusk sets in and the birds have the realm alone again. Experience the increasing calm at this time of day. This is a special trip through a bird breeding area where you can only come with the forester. At this time you experience nature very differently! Important to know
Age: from eight years. Boots are necessary. (Shoes can be taken off at the creeks in summer.) Dogs are not allowed. Unfortunately, children in a buggy or baby carrier are not allowed. The excursion is in Dutch.

Ecomare - natuurmuseum & zeehondenopvang
A little outside De Koog in the dunes near post 17, you will find nature museum and seal sanctuary Ecomare. Seals If you want to see a seal up close, you can do so at Ecomare. The seals are fed at 11:00 and 15:30. During the feeding, you will be told all about the seals that live at Ecomare. You can also admire other sea animals at Ecomare. The bird sanctuary can be visited and there is a whale hall with skeletons of various whales and dolphins.
