Discover, together with the forester, what makes the De Slufter salt marsh area so special! From the salt-tolerant plants to the animals you encounter on this two-hour walk. You enter the part that is only accessible with an excursion. There is no path; you just wander around the area. The guide knows the way and tells about the history of the area along the way and introduces you to salty plants such as samphire and sea lavender. You also cross a (shallow) gully along the way, so boots are necessary. De Slufter is part of the Dunes of Texel National Park and is managed by Staatsbosbeheer. Please note: boots are necessary.
