Seahorses in the spotlight at Ecomare During the spring break, Ecomare will be putting the spotlight on seahorses. Seahorses have become increasingly numerous in the North Sea in recent years. Due to global warming, they have moved further north. However, it can still be too cold for them in the winter. They then wash up on the beach with hypothermia. At Ecomare, seahorses are taken in at the Sea Aquarium. Learn more about these cute little fish this holiday and make your own seahorse! Ecomare will be paying attention to seahorses at various levels this holiday. From a lecture about seahorses for everyone aged 10 and up to reading from a picture book for the very youngest.
