The A-choir from Oosterend
Sunday 8 October 2023 The A-choir from Oosterend will perform in the Hoornder Vermaning. The repertoire includes songs from the Middle Ages to the 21st century: madrigals and pop, romantic songs and contemporary repertoire, often rearranged in their own unique way by conductor Rob Hodzelmans. The A-choir creates an atmosphere of peace and reflection, but also of excitement and emotion. Time: 3 pm to 4.30 pm. Entrance: free entrance with collection.

De Vermaning Den Hoorn
This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
