Sunday, January 22, 2023 Daniel (bassist and vocalist) lived in Den Hoorn with his parents and brothers. He has since completed music studies at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain and has managed to make his own album. A dream come true! His music is a mix of cultures and styles, a kind of world pop. His debut Out of Shadows features musicians from more than sixteen countries, some with traditional instruments that give the album a unique sound. Last summer, Daniel was lucky enough to shoot a music video, which will be released on Jan. 13 along with the single Fly Away. To celebrate, he will play some songs from his album, along with his musical friends Juliano Abramovay (oud and guitar), Jacobus Thiele (percussion) and Massimiliano Dosoli (bass clarinet). They will also perform compositions by Juliano Abramovay, John Zorn and Rabih Abou Khalil. Everyone is welcome! Time: 3 p.m. Cost: free (voluntary contribution desired).
