Saturday 2 March to Monday 1 April 2024 Jos Vloemans calls his paintings 'Thoughts'. Thoughts that he captures with paint on canvas in figures and shapes that are joyful and thought-provoking. His work is colourful, captivating and layered. Worth pausing to consider. Surprising work by a self-willed artist who has been living on Texel for many years now. Times: daily between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Free entrance.

This church is well hidden: from the road you have no idea that there is a church on Diek. This is due to its history, De Vermaning was built as a hidden church for the Mennonite congregation. Access through a secret gate The gate of Diek 11 gives you access to the path that takes you to the church. The church is hidden behind a row of houses and in the backyard of Diek 11, as it were. Exhibition space The church is no longer used for services of the Baptist congregation. It is now a place where exhibitions and activities are organized.
