Every year on 24 May we celebrate National Park Day, a moment when the most characteristic natural areas of the Netherlands are in the spotlight. In 2025, we will focus on the theme of biodiversity on this special day. We invite young and old to discover the diversity of species in our parks together with forest rangers, guides and other nature lovers. What lives in the water, what grows from the ground and which species fly through the air? On National Park Day, go on an excursion with a forest ranger or nature guide, or carefully draw your own plan with a magnifying glass, binoculars or a handy app on your phone. Discover how rich nature is!
