Thu5rsday 30 January and Friday 31 January 2025 With a luxury minibus, a maximum of six people will set off for an afternoon to search for as many bird species as possible in various bird-rich areas. In cooperation with Staatsbosbeheer and the National Park Dunes of Texel, we offer a half-day excursion through the National Park. We stop at various places and take one or more short walks through the dunes or forest. The species we see/hear are very diverse; waders in the Slufter and various songbirds and birds of prey in the dunes and the Dennen. The range of species is very variable and depends partly on the season. If a rare species is reported, we can deviate from the route to look for this special bird. Every excursion is different after all! The excursion starts at 13.30 at the Bird Information Centre. There we will have a cup of coffee/tea afterwards around 16.30 while filling in the species list. . If you do not have your own binoculars, you can of course borrow one from us. The price for this bus excursion is €45 per person. With this money we realise, among other things, new bird-watching points on Texel.
