Do you like lamb? For real Texel lamb and beef you can visit Boerderij Hoogvliet. Sometimes you can take a look at the cows and/or calves in the barn. Fresh lamb is available every Friday, all year round. Opening hours: Friday and Saturday from 10 am - noon and in October also on Monday. Boerderijwinkel Hoogvliet
Hoogvliet farm is located in the middle of Texel, on the Nieuwlanderweg. The grassland is used for the animals to roam freely and the arable land for growing sugar beet, flower bulbs, potatoes and grain. Farm shop and camping The farm shop sells Texel lamb and beef. Fresh Lamb every Friday, all year round! In addition, there are 15 camping pitches where you can 'camp with the farmer'.
