Tuesday 26 November 2024 Graffiti and street art have grown into global art movements with an enormous impact on popular culture, graphic design and fashion. In a lecture, graffiti artist, graphic designer and artist Remko Koopman explains how this once controversial subculture grew into a global phenomenon in 30 years. Koopman, known by the pseudonym 'SCAGE', started with graffiti in Leiden in 1988 and developed his own style that received international recognition.
