The electric car is becoming increasingly popular. More and more fully electric cars and so-called plug-in hybrids are driving around almost all of Europe. The numbers of electrically powered cars are expected to continue to rise strongly in the coming years.

Electric cars are welcome on Texel

More and more electric cars are driven on Texel. Our island is - because of the limited distances - ideal for electric cars. Texel has 20 public charging stations for electric cars and electric scooters. The public charging stations are located in the large parking lots.
