At IJsboerderij Labora near De Cocksdorp, getting an ice cream is a great family outing! Natural and local Artisan made ice cream? Yes, even on Texel! Labora uses fresh milk and cream, from its own dairy cows that graze outside in the meadow, as the basis for the delicious ice cream. The cows walk, weather permitting, outside in the meadow for at least 8 months a year in the middle of the 'De Roggesloot' nature reserve. Here you will find the peace and quiet that makes the Texel Noordkop so unique. Labora only works with natural ingredients and as much as possible with real Texel products and you can taste that! Family outing Enjoy your ice cream at one of the picnic tables in the garden. Ice cream? Then there is much more to see and experience. Such as the barn, where approximately 120 cows are milked fully automatically by milking robots. Children can enjoy themselves on a large bouncy castle, a climbing tower and a slide. The meadow where deer walk is also very nice. And there are regular small calves to admire. Ideal place for a family outing!
