What do you do at VVV Texel?

I’m a Marketing & Communications Assistant, specialising in Promotions & Campaigns. It’s my job to see that Texel gets coverage through commercials on radio and TV and billboards along the motorways, and I organise a variety of competitions.

What tip do you have for Texel visitors?

I was born and brought up in Oosterend. Like many people I think Oosterend is Texel’s most beautiful town, particularly around the church in the old centre. Oosterend has picturesque little streets with typical Texel houses and their old facades. In fact the Maartenskerk from 1206 is one of the oldest churches in the Netherlands.
