Radna Trap

Radna has worked at VVV Texel since 2003 and since then she has held a variety of positions in marketing and communications. Since 2022, she has been working as Island Marketer - PR & Partnerships.

What do you do at VVV Texel?

‘In this position, I deal with PR in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and partnerships, among other things. These are collaborations with non-Texel organisations/brands and, for example, with local events. I also develop various marketing campaigns for Texel together with colleagues. What I like best is the real organisational and organisational work, i.e. making a schedule and then organising a project from A to Z on that basis. For example, if we are working on an event, I make sure that all actions are planned and executed, that deadlines are met and that we achieve a nice end result. Or for a journalist, making sure the visit is organised down to the last detail. That makes me happy. I like my job because of the variety, no two days are the same, we are constantly developing and lots of things are happening. And of course the really nice and close-knit team. We really do it together and get a lot done with a small team.’

Favourite island bird: buzzard or a kestrel. I'm not a bird person, but birds of prey are cool.
Season on Texel: spring, everything comes back into bloom, the lambs in the meadow, sunshine. That always cheers me up after the winter months.

Anne-Marie deals with Travelbase management and database marketing. She enjoys helping partners set up their Travelbase environment.

Danielle Snowden-Boom

Manager of the Font Office department of VVV Texel is Daniëlle. She makes the rosters and oversees the day-to-day running of the department.

Marie-Christine Pijnenburg

Marie-Christine is a Front Office Employee and answers the phone, emails, apps and social media messages. She also works in the shop regularly.

Afke Jimmink

Afke has been working in the Front Office department since 1997. She informs guests in the shop and online about activities on the island.

Melissa de Vries
