Mariëlle van den Berg-Akkerman

As Finance Manager, Mariëlle has been responsible for the entire financial administration of VVV Texel since 2011.

What do you do at VVV Texel?

‘An important part of my job is processing payments from guests and disbursements to the accommodation owners. I also take care of the budget, annual accounts, interim figures and payroll administration. I am also a member of the MT. I like working with figures and making sure everything is in order. But I also enjoy making sure the atmosphere is good. There are very nice colleagues at VVV Texel. That and the high degree of independence make it a nice job for me.’

Danielle Snowden-Boom

Manager of the Font Office department of VVV Texel is Daniëlle. She makes the rosters and oversees the day-to-day running of the department.

Marie-Christine Pijnenburg

Marie-Christine is a Front Office Employee and answers the phone, emails, apps and social media messages. She also works in the shop regularly.

Afke Jimmink

Afke has been working in the Front Office department since 1997. She informs guests in the shop and online about activities on the island.

Melissa de Vries

As a Front Office employee, Melissa is happy to answer your questions about Texel or accommodations. She has been happily doing this since 2018!
