Leonie has worked at VVV Texel since 2022 and, as Island Marketer, deals with the website, webshop, app, social media, campaigns and newsletters.

What do you do at VVV Texel?

‘As Island Marketer, I show people why they should visit the island. But things like making sure the island is spread out, encouraging cycling and walking, and promoting Texel entrepreneurs are also important. I write daily newsletters, website texts and social media posts. I also do a lot of photography and enjoy working with colleagues on new ideas and projects. That is exactly what makes the work so much fun: the great colleagues! I also like to win a game of table football in the canteen and, as a native of Amsterdam, really enjoy the office view: sheep with the beautiful church of Den Hoorn in the distance.’

Danielle Snowden-Boom

Manager of the Font Office department of VVV Texel is Daniëlle. She makes the rosters and oversees the day-to-day running of the department.

Marie-Christine Pijnenburg

Marie-Christine is a Front Office Employee and answers the phone, emails, apps and social media messages. She also works in the shop regularly.

Afke Jimmink

Afke has been working in the Front Office department since 1997. She informs guests in the shop and online about activities on the island.

Melissa de Vries

As a Front Office employee, Melissa is happy to answer your questions about Texel or accommodations. She has been happily doing this since 2018!
