Frank Spooren

Since 2016, Frank has been the director of VVV Texel. On the one hand, he manages the Front Office, Marketing, Data and Finance departments; on the other, he is a sparring partner for entrepreneurs, strategic VVV partners and similar stakeholders.

What do you do at VVV Texel?

‘I try to keep all VVV colleagues motivated and enthusiastic to represent together one of the most beautiful places in Europe. By extension, keeping supporters and partners happy and convincing everyone that you go faster alone, but together you get further. The most enjoyable thing to do is getting all parties together at the end of the day so that Texel retains that strong position we have built together. Unique in the Netherlands and perhaps the world. I think VVV Texel is a great place to work because of the dynamics in the organisation and the variation thanks to our core tasks of inspiration, promotion, bookings & tickets and tourist knowledge sharing. That gives a lot of pleasure every day.’

Dalea Dekker

As Database Marketer, Dalea is responsible for analysing, checking and reporting the data of the various departments.

Anne-Marie Kortenhoeven-Boon

Anne-Marie deals with Travelbase management and database marketing. She enjoys helping partners set up their Travelbase environment.

Danielle Snowden-Boom

Manager of the Font Office department of VVV Texel is Daniëlle. She makes the rosters and oversees the day-to-day running of the department.

Marie-Christine Pijnenburg

Marie-Christine is a Front Office Employee and answers the phone, emails, apps and social media messages. She also works in the shop regularly.

Afke Jimmink

Afke has been working in the Front Office department since 1997. She informs guests in the shop and online about activities on the island.

Melissa de Vries

As a Front Office employee, Melissa is happy to answer your questions about Texel or accommodations. She has been happily doing this since 2018!

Anita Ran
