Since 2023, Farnam has been VVV Texel's Data Engineer. He creates clear dashboards that he uses to help every department move forward.

What do you do at VVV Texel?

‘I'm trying to make VVV Texel more data-driven. I work with datasets from different sources and prepare them for use cases such as building analytical reports and dashboards or machine learning models. These use cases help my colleagues to better understand the organisation and make better decisions. I find data visualisation the most fun part of my job. Building easy-to-understand and beautiful dashboards is an example of data visualisation. I love working at VVV because I can work with data from different departments, which allows me to improve my skills every day. Also, the work atmosphere is great and everyone is welcoming!’

Manager of the Font Office department of VVV Texel is Daniëlle. She makes the rosters and oversees the day-to-day running of the department.

Marie-Christine Pijnenburg

Marie-Christine is a Front Office Employee and answers the phone, emails, apps and social media messages. She also works in the shop regularly.

Afke Jimmink

Afke has been working in the Front Office department since 1997. She informs guests in the shop and online about activities on the island.

Melissa de Vries

As a Front Office employee, Melissa is happy to answer your questions about Texel or accommodations. She has been happily doing this since 2018!
