Danielle Snowden-Boom

In 1998, Danielle joined VVV Texel as a Front Office employee. Since 2020, she has been Front Office Manager. Meanwhile, she is also indispensable as a rock for the Island Marketers.

What do you do at VVV Texel?

‘This department is where all contact with guests takes place, by phone, email, WhatsApp or in the shop. I make the schedules and oversee the day-to-day running of the department. A few hours a week I help with work in the marketing department. Then I work on the website, for example. What I like most about my job is the contact with people. At the VVV, we work with a team of colleagues who all give 100% every day to make guests feel as comfortable as possible. Many of our colleagues have been working at the VVV for quite some time. Because of this, you know each other well and know what to expect from each other. Most guests who enlist our help are planning to go on holiday or are on holiday and are therefore happy. What could be more fun than holidaying on the most beautiful island in the world!’

Anne-Marie Kortenhoeven-Boon

Anne-Marie deals with Travelbase management and database marketing. She enjoys helping partners set up their Travelbase environment.

Marie-Christine Pijnenburg

Marie-Christine is a Front Office Employee and answers the phone, emails, apps and social media messages. She also works in the shop regularly.

Afke Jimmink

Afke has been working in the Front Office department since 1997. She informs guests in the shop and online about activities on the island.

Melissa de Vries

As a Front Office employee, Melissa is happy to answer your questions about Texel or accommodations. She has been happily doing this since 2018!
