Definite/irrevocable reservation (cooling-off period)

An agreement with VVV Texel by means of a reservation through this website becomes effective online when the principal booker has agreed to the terms and conditions, has confirmed his or her reservation details and has received a message on his or her screen that the reservation has been completed.

Immediately after the booking, VVV Texel will send a confirmation email to the principal booker. The confirmation is deemed to have reached the principal booker when he or she has read it or has been given a reasonable opportunity to read it.
We would like to remind you that reservations made via the Internet are definite. The “cooling-off period”, “remote buying” in legal terms, does not apply to the holiday trips booked through our website.

VVV Texel uses reviews; the results of the reviews (scores, comments, etc.) provided by guests who have booked accommodation through VVV Texel will be shown on VVV Texel’s website along with the accommodation in question. The reviews will only show the guests’ place of residence and the period the accommodation was used by the guests. VVV Texel explicitly states that the guests’ names will not be shown, although those names are known to VVV Texel.
